Math Katas is an educational app designed for children. We believe student privacy — especially elementary school privacy — should be respected and protected.
Math Katas does not collect or sell personal data.
Data Collection
Math Katas does not collect, store, or transmit personal user data to our own servers.
We do not:
- Create user accounts
- Collect names, email addresses, or contact information
- Track users across apps or websites
- Use advertising, analytics, or tracking tools
- Sell or share data for marketing or advertising
Apple-Managed Services
Math Katas uses Apple technologies to support core functionality:
- iCloud / CloudKit — to sync progress across a user’s own devices
- ClassKit — to support Apple Schoolwork assignments
Any data used for these features:
- Stays on the device and/or in the user’s private iCloud account
- Is managed entirely by Apple
- Is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy
Math Katas does not access Apple IDs or iCloud accounts.
Children’s Privacy
Math Katas is designed for children and classroom use.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and we believe selling student data — especially elementary school data — is inappropriate.
Math Katas does not sell user data, and we have no plans to ever do so.
Future Features
As Math Katas evolves, future features may require limited data collection to support functionality (for example, optional cross-platform features).
If this ever changes:
- This policy will be updated
- Data collection will be limited to what is strictly necessary
- Student privacy will remain a top priority
